Relegation is unthinkable

It's the start of another campaign "Championship season 25/26", Tony Mowbray's successor is identified as Tottenham Hotspur's assistant manager Ryan Mason, and he is appointed Head Coach of West Bromwich Albion in June 2025.

Our off the field and financial issues should be common knowledge by now throughout the footballing world? the likes of Heggem, Fellows, Furlong, Palmer all depart due to the current and ongoing financial crisis, remaining within the parameters of PSR is essential to avoid a possible transfer embargo or even a points deduction?.

Replacements for our outgoings had to be found, and the likes of Phillips, Mepham, Heggebo, Campbell, Gilchrist to name a few came in, being honest with everyone reading this Blog and due to our financial constraints I was relatively satisfied.

16th August 2025 Wrexham 2 West Bromwich Albion 3, the front football we had been promised was clear to see and a team with an identity was on show. The following weekend we secured our first point of the new season at home, and then headed to Stoke to earn another three points on the road.

13th September 2025 and we welcomed Derby County to the Hawthorns who put an end to our reasonable start to the season as they departed with all three points. This in my opinion was the beginning of worse things to come, I could go on but I'm sure your'e aware that things did not improve.

Finally on 6th January 2025 West Bromwich Albion Football Club parted company with Ryan Mason. and on 11th January 2025 Eric Ramsay was appointed Head Coach. The 34 year old arrived from MLS side Minnesota, defeat on his opening game sees West Bromwich Albion Football Club engaged in a relegation battle that's the reality, as I write this Blog the football club find themselves sitting 19th in the Championship with 31 points from 27 games, just 4 points is keeping them out of the drop zone.

To draw this Blog to a conclusion I'm calling on all W.B.A fans attending home games, away games or both? to get behind our boys and the new Manager, slipping out of the Championship and dropping into League One is simply not an option. It's all about results performances can come second!.

Thanks for reading, keep the faith Boing Boing, Matt.
