Christopher Brunt born 14th December 1984, Northern Irish professional footballer

a versatile player who has featured primarily as a left winger

he's also played as a left back and an attacking midfielder



Chris began his footballing career with Middlesbrough but he failed to make an appearance

he joined Sheffield Wednesday in 2004 making 153 appearances

in 2007 West Bromwich Albion came calling appearing over 400 times for the
Black Country club




at international level Chris has earned 65 caps for Northern Ireland

West Bromwich Albion's bid for Brunt was excepted on 14th August 2007

the deal was completed the following day, paying £3 million pounds on a 4 year deal

the deal also included a further £500,000 of performance related add ons




Chris made his West Brom debut as a second half substitute in a 2 - 0 home win against Barnsley




his first goal in West Bromwich Albion colours came in a 3 - 2 away victory against
Scunthorpe United on the 22nd September in 2007




in the 2008 - 2009 season Chris was the clubs top scorer netting 9 times




in 2011 Chris was made club captain by West Bromwich Albion manager at the time

on 4th June 2020 it was announced that Chris would be leaving West Bromwich Albion
at the end of the season
